Hello Eagles. It’s Mother Eagle here, how is everybody doing? I hope you’re doing well. Our book for the week is 177 Mental Toughness Secrets of the World Class, by Steve Siebold. This is how the book looks like. Why I really love this book, because it breaks down all the success factors that are involved in becoming your … becoming great, becoming a champion. You know, it’s not one thing, it’s not the ten secrets to. No, it’s a combination of so many little things that have to work well in order for you to show up, and show up in your greatness. And this … the way this book was written is he puts some, you know, like a one-page explanation that he gives you things to do. Which is awesome because that way you have actions to take for every little statement. You have 177 of them, ideas in this book to be able to get to your next level.

But to become a champion, really, you need real strength, mental strength. You need tenacity. You have to be able to fail with grace, and fail forward. This book will help you do that. Some of the wonderful things he talks about in this book, the crypt separate truth from facts. You know, because sometimes you forget what is fact and what is truth, and in that confusion we land behind. The great ones know that they are unaware. You know, it’s thing not to know something, it’s another thing to know that you don’t know, and you go out searching for help. Because some levels will only get there if someone reveals that blind spot that we don’t see.

He also says … talks about that champions know adversity is the catalysts of mental toughness. And that is very true, most of us will never see our capability and our potential until someone actually pushes us and the pressure is on, you’re right on the wall. And then your truth raises up. The truth that you know from the core, with no judgements, raises up and you express yourself. You go for your goal; you make your life the way you want it to be. Because it’s there for the taking, no one is stopping you, but you have to go get it. And it will take mental strength, it will take physical strength, it will take spiritual strength to be the best version of you. You have to let go of things, and add things, and learn all these principles. These are just nuggets to help you, and on your way, you collect your own toolbox of nuggets that help.

Champions are decisive. Oh, I love this so much. Because one of the things that has helped the most, I guess in my personal development journey, is being decisive. You see something, you want it, you go for it. And you don’t stop until you get it. Remember, you have to remain ethical and in integrity, but you have to go for it. And guess what, you shouldn’t be afraid of failing, if you fail you try again with that different tactic and that different method to get things done. But you will get them done.

He also mentions champions love what they do. This goes down to our purpose, our mission, why are you here? What are you doing here on earth, you know? You have to be able to love what you do, because with that desire and that excitement that oozes through you, you are able to jump over all the mishaps that happen along the way. Because life will happen, things will go on. But then, do you have that tenacity to jump over all those hoops when they come your way. It will only work if you love what you do. So discovering what you love to do, is going to be your number one priority. Then polishing it up, packaging it up, you know? To be presented to the world. Because when your gift shows up … when your gift shows up, usually shows up as a wrong material. It doesn’t look pretty at all, and it’s your road to polish it up and make it better.

Let’s see, he also talks about faith, you know, champions have big time faith and also they are professional failures. Let me tell you one thing, if you haven’t failed, in anything you’ve done up to this point, you’re not trying hard enough. Yes, because failure and learning lessons along the way to make you better is part of the journey. So if you’re waiting to do something, then do it right the first time, and be perfect the whole time, then you’re not trying hard enough. You’re like a soccer fan on the sideline and giving all this instruction, “Right lane do this, goal do this and that.” Instead of being in the game, in the fire, and playing. I invite you to get in the game and actually play. Play the hardest.

This book will help you, 177 Mental Toughness Secrets of the World Class, by Steve Siebold. Well, we are going to get this personal development thing going, right? If you just … a few pages, just a few pages a day. Goal, and do your good. As always, it’s Mother Eagle. I’ll talk to you soon. Bye.
